Brand Needed
In an increasingly competitive and digitally noisy retail and manufacturing space, there is a growing opportunity for customers and communities to become disconnected with brands and their online platforms.
Consol is facing increased competition from glass manufacturers, the low-price and convenience perception that plastic garners, as well an emerging youth market that has divergent habits, wants, needs and ways of expression from other groups of buyers.
With this in mind, they approached us to help them create a comprehensive and well-executed digital strategy to be able to compete and reach their target audiences, which included relooking at all their online touchpoints. As a result, we embarked on a journey with Consol to create a new website that would provide an easily accessible platform for people to discover their unique brand and product offering.
Insights and
Execution
The project was born from a full digital audit of all Consol’s platforms. After a complete examination of Consol asset content, it was clear that a stronger focus was needed in creating a point of view and relevant tone of voice.
The result was a fresh website for Consol, including functional design that delivered on an efficient UX and UI. We also laid the foundations for e-commerce functionality, which Consol are looking at migrating to in the next phase. For now, the ‘add to cart’ feature has been repurposed for product inquiries.
At the same time, the development team managed to create a product catalogue fit for in depth indexing that has advanced search capabilities to ensure consumers can easily browse through and find their perfect glass products. The website was also built to be responsive in design and functionality that allows for the site to display across numerous devices and screen sizes, thereby enhancing user experience no matter how it is being accessed.



The Results
The new Consol website is a perfect example of a digital business tool that offers product cataloguing, “add to cart” product inquiries, lead generation through advanced contact us forms that allow for ease of database capture and management, brand information and news in a highly visual manner that is engaging to the consumer.
