Clockwork has secured the highest number of finalist places in the first-ever Mark Awards, with 10 entries across 4 campaigns recognised. Each shortlisted entry demonstrates strength in strategy, design, innovation and brand experience.

Launched earlier this year, the Mark Awards were created to reflect the evolving nature of the industry and to acknowledge that creativity alone is no longer enough.

Co-founded by MarkLives’ Herman Manson and award-winning marketer Prakash Patel, the awards are judged by a panel of local and international experts. They celebrate excellence across strategy, innovation, design, experience and leadership, recognising the multidimensional nature of modern marketing.

“The Mark Awards set out to recognise the full depth of our industry, not just big ideas but the strategy, technology and craft that bring them to life,” says Herman Manson.

All of Clockwork’s shortlisted campaigns and categories:

  • JAECOO — How We Hijacked Cars on YouTube: Media Planning and Ad-Tech
  • Byron Thomas Properties — Homes Need Pets: E-commerce Marketing, Media Planning, Digital Advertising, Customer Experience, and Change for Good
  • Disney+ — The Bear Joburg Experience: PR
  • ADASA — Did I Hear That?: Copywriting and Audio

“Recognition across multiple categories reflects the depth and range of our work,” says Tom Manners, CEO of Clockwork. “As a first-of-its-kind initiative, the Mark Awards offer a broader view of what defines great work today. We look forward to seeing how they evolve in the years to come.”
